What the Top Designers Told Us at the Pune Design Show 2025

PDS 2025 Event

The Pune Design Show 2025 turned out to be a truly memorable milestone for the Grava team. Over three vibrant days, we welcomed architects, designers and design lovers from across the country to our stall. What made it truly special was the genuine appreciation and excitement we received from people who understand and shape spaces every day.

Our stall focused on showcasing the beauty of Indian natural stones in a way that felt modern yet rooted. We displayed a mix of bold textures, intricate carvings and hand-polished surfaces. Every piece had a story and we felt deeply honoured to see how many people paused, observed, touched and admired.

One of the most encouraging compliments came from the legend himself Ar. Shabbir Unwala Sir, who said, “Very nice and surprisingly beautiful products.” That word, surprisingly, stayed with us. At Grava, we aim to create designs that feel fresh and unexpected, while still staying true to the essence of natural stone.

Ar. Sanjay Mohe Sir, a celebrated name in the industry, shared a short but powerful comment: “Lovely texture.” Simple, yet incredibly meaningful, especially coming from someone who has built a legacy on thoughtful materiality.

Ar. Prerana Chopade Ma’am spent time exploring our display and appreciated the range in our collection. She said, “Great collection and variety,” and mentioned she was looking forward to working together. Conversations like these are what make these events truly rewarding.

Jitesh Makwana connected with the patterns and the raw, powerful look of some of our pieces. He said, “I liked the pattern of these stones. I loved hard rock the most.” His enthusiasm for the material reminded us why we love working with natural stone in its purest form.

Ar. Sameer Chaubal Sir admired the finer detailing, especially in our functional pieces. “Loved the bench and detailing on products,” he shared, pointing out the craftsmanship that often goes unnoticed but makes a lasting impression.

Another highlight was the visit from Ar. Sameer Ausekar Sir and Ar. Manish Kale Sir. Their words, “Yes indeed a great showcase of natural stone textures and finishes,” felt like a nod of encouragement to the entire team who had worked for months to bring the collection together.

One of the most touching compliments came from Rushikesh Ingale Sir. He said it was his first time seeing such artwork this close. His exact words were, “Never seen such depth and passion. Great!” That kind of feedback sticks with you long after the event ends.

Apart from these names, many visitors stopped by just to share how much they enjoyed the experience. Some called the work unique, others said it was creative. A few even stayed back just to talk about how natural stone could be used more expressively in modern architecture.

For us, the Pune Design Show was more than just an exhibition. It was a space to connect, to inspire and to be inspired. And most of all, it was a reminder that when design comes from the heart, it never goes unnoticed.
