Grava’s Debut at The Pune Design Show 2025: A Celebration of Natural Stone

PDS 2025 Event

Sometimes a stone is not just a stone it’s a story, a craft, an emotion. And for Grava, The Pune Design Show 2025 was the perfect canvas to tell that story for the very first time.

Established in 2020 by Mr. Anush Agarwal, Grava has always believed that Indian Natural Stones hold unmatched beauty and potential. Be it sandstone, marble, granite, basalt, limestone or pebbles every piece has its own character. And at The Pune Design Show, held from June 20-22, we had the chance to express that belief through art, architecture and design.

Our debut wasn’t just about putting stones on display, it was about reimagining them. With customized finishes, rare textures and emotional detailing, we transformed traditional materials into a new-age design experience. We launched never-seen-before designs from hanging stone veneers on the ceiling using layered marble, to a C-shaped bench with opposite sides seating that became a crowd favourite. Every element in our stall spoke of thought, soul and storytelling.

The entire experience was elevated by the creative vision of two industry renowned Ar. Tushar Kothawade Sir and ID. Chiranjivi Lunkad Ma’am of Studio Infinity. From stall design to detailed stone pieces, their artistry gave our showcase a distinct identity. One of our most appreciated designs on basalt stone was personally created by Chiranjivi Ma’am and the way people connected with it was beyond words.

The energy at the stall was electric. From young designers to seasoned architects, developers to end-users everyone paused, admired and asked the same thing: “How is this even possible on stone?” That moment of surprise, that spark of inspiration, is exactly what we aimed to create.

We were humbled to have our stall visited and appreciated by some of the biggest names in architecture Ar. Sanjay Mohe(Mindspace Architects), Ar. Manish Bankar (TAO Architecture), Ar. Shabbir Unwala (Design Workshop), Ar. Ashwin Lovekar (Lovekar Design Associates), Ar. Caroline Bos (UNS Amsterdam) and Ar. Ravi Gadre. And the most special moment our stall was inaugurated by the legendary Ar. Ernesto Bedmar, whose presence was an honor for us. The event was beautifully brought to life by Mr. Amit Danait from A&I Digest, whose warmth and presence made it an absolute hit.

This debut meant a lot to us. It was more than a showcase. It was Grava’s voice saying:
“Yes, even stone can feel alive.”

As we move forward, Grava stays rooted in its promise to create, customize, and celebrate Indian natural stones like never before. We don’t just sell stone. We design experiences, we build stories, we create emotions one layer, one finish, one design at a time.
